It's not easy to explain poker, but even more difficult to escape the magic of this game. After all, it even fascinates James Bond.

The basic principles are easy to understand. The bank only deals the cards and ensures that everything is dealt correctly. You're not playing against them, you're playing against other players.  They have the same goals as you: to put the best combination of five cards on the table at the big showdown. But often it does not come to the showdown. Because in poker you have to bet on the odds of your own hand.  And that makes it possible for you to appear very strong even with weak cards. Provided you have iron nerves - and none of your opponents have a royal flush.
